Join us for the 5th edition of the Women in Agribusiness Week, a week-long celebration of women’s contributions to the agribusiness sector across Greater Accra, Eastern, and Volta regions. WAW 2024 will unite over 1500 women and men for industry collaborations, insightful dialogues, and recognition of outstanding achievements.
The Objectives of WAW
To identify the existing barriers hindering women’s participation in the African food system.
To explore innovative approaches and technologies that can empower women in agriculture and enhance their connectivity within the food value chain.
To develop strategies for fostering collaboration and networking among women entrepreneurs, farmers, and stakeholders across the African food markets.
To promote gender-responsive policies and initiatives that support women’s empowerment and inclusion in the Agricultural value chain.
